Description : Sweet Orange essential oil is derived from the fresh rind of its fruit, as most citrus essential oils are. Like Lemon, Sweet Orange oil is also antibacterial and antiviral.

Constituents : a-pinene, sabinene, myrcene, limonene, linalool, citronellal, neral and geranial. |
Uses : Sweet orange essential oil can be applied topically, as a compress, in the bath, through direct inhalation, or diffuser. Because of its potential phototoxic effects, it should always be diluted and dermal applications avoided before exposure to sunlight. In vapor therapy, orange oil can help with colds and flu, nervous tension and stress. As a blended massage oil or added to a bath, it assists with colds and flu, eliminates toxins, boost the lymphatic and immune system and helps ease nervous tension and stress. When used in a cream or lotion it also assists the lymphatic system, helping to detoxify a congested skin. it is a good general skin tonic, it is great for older more mature skin, dealing with dermatitis, as well as acne and soothing a dry irritated skin.
