Description : 
Zafari plant contains several components such as terpenes, glycosides, flavonoids, and anthocyanins that have beneficial effects on human health. Zafari is a tall upright marigold plant from the genus Tagetes, with small flowers, native to the southern half of South America. It has numerous local names that vary by region, most commonly found in the literature as chinchilla, chiquilla, chilca, zuico, suico, or anisillo.


Constituents : 
linalool (3.8%), nerol (3.05%), geraniol


Uses :
 Zafari Absolute oil is used in treatment of headaches, toothache, swellings & strengthening the heart, for culinary purposes including in kitchen recipes for making soups and stews.


Benefit : Zafari Absolute oil has several medical benefits such as a remedy for the colds, respiratory inflammations, stomach problems, anti-spasmodic, anti-parasitic, antiseptic and sedative. This work aimed to investigate antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.
